The goal
We want to see more short films by and for Black people, don’t you?
We also want to encourage more collaborations between Black filmmakers in Ohio.
So that’s what we’re gonna do! Writer’s Room is a program dedicated to increasing more short films and writing collabs.

The challenge
Six weeks. Four teams. Four short film scripts. One TEAM WINS.
Over six weeks, four teams of 2 will complete a short film script with prompts given by the community. Each week you will have the opportunity to learn something new to help you reach your goal.

The prize
The winning team will receive Final Draft 12 screenwriting software!
Winners will also have their film made by BOFG members, gloating rights, and a super lit party in Columbus.
