Sydnee Roberts-Crews, she|her


Sydnee is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion manager for OpenStax, an affiliate of Rice University.

Outside of her day job, she is a screenwriter and director, and founder of Black Ohio Film Group. She premiered In Our Bed at Gateway Film Center in Columbus, Ohio. She also has films Immunity and Borderline. Her focus in film is to provide representation for people of color, specifically in love, education, and mental health.


Michael Towns, he|him

Outreach & Development

Michael provides commercial business lending solutions at Wright-Patt Credit Union for Central, Ohio.

His goal is to be a resource for lending and business relationships for the Central, Ohio market. From real estate to business acquisitions/start-ups to lines of credit, he loves to help businesses achieve each of their goals and aspirations.

Michael is also part owner of an upcoming bar and lounge, Noir.


Keira Chapman, she|her


Keira has extensive knowledge in the nonprofit and real estate industries.

Keira previously served as the Co-Chair of Young Professionals Network with Columbus Realtors, is the Community Service Chair for the Columbus Urban League Young Professionals (CULYP), President of her neighborhood blockwatch, a Mentor with Columbus City Schools and Youth to Youth, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.


Kris Crews, she|her

Marketing + Communication

Kris Crews is a writer from Columbus, Ohio. In 2017, she graduated with a B.A. in journalism and media communications. Pursuing this field allowed her to develop her skills as a writer, and with time and hard work, she sent out work published by MTV, Huffington Post, Black Excellence, Hustle TV, and Elite Daily.

Board Administrator

Jonah is the HR Systems Administrator at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio. He has experience working with large corporations such as Columbia Gas of Ohio and non-profits. Jonah has unique experience in LGBTQ+ training and advocacy, helping each agency focus on equitable and inclusive practices.
