Who Can be a member?

Anyone who identifies as Black/African-American/Afro Latino and has an interest in the filmmaking process.

I’m not a writer or director, can I join?

Absolutely. Anyone who plays a part in the production of film and television can join. Don’t see your role in “profile types”? Contact us.

I’m not Black, can I still join?

Black Ohio Film Group seeks to center Black people and the variety of Black experiences. We appreciate your interest in wanting to join Black Ohio Film Group and would love to have a conversation about what that means for you.

I’m not a filmmaker, do you have a membership for me?

Not yet. We eventually want to have “Watch Party” memberships that give you access to all the BOFG community films or shows.

Can I hire a BOFG member for work?

Yes, you can! Simply fill out this form to tell us what you need and we’ll connect you with some of our members.
